Connecting Businesswomen and Emerging Leaders in Western Australia

Jody Nunn GAICD, State Manager of the Western Australian Division of the AICD, hosted the event at Perth’s State Reception Centre in Kings Park and Botanic Garden.

Jody also leads the Pipeline Programme, which assists female executives develop their knowledge of directorship and raise their profiles within the director community via a year‑long series of events, education and other activities. The program aims to create a pipeline of ‘board-ready’ executive women in the WA business community, and to complement AICD’s national board diversity initiatives.

Speaking at the event, Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash, Minister for Employment and Minister for Women, celebrated the ongoing success of BoardLinks, the Government’s key tool for boosting the number of women on Government boards, and took the opportunity to congratulate attendees for their championing of diversity in decision-making:

“Everyone in this room is responsible for being champions of this argument, and pushing for greater opportunities for talented women—of all backgrounds, skill sets and experiences,” Minister Cash said.
